Indian Army to recruit 800 porters at Rajouri-Poonch sector for newly raised company

“A porter recruitment rally will be held at seven places in Rajouri and Poonch districts to register 600 porters and 200 reserve porters for the Army Carrier Company,” they said.
According to the official announcement, 279 Porter Company meets for 179 days, from April 1 to September 26 this year, under the Ministry of Defense.
Recruitment rallies will be held at seven brigade headquarters in Rajouri and Poonch from March 12 to 19.
The tour will be held at brigade headquarters in Poonch and Rajouri from 12-13 March, Balnoi and Naushera from 14-15 March, Bhimber Gali from 16-17 March and Mendhar and Manjakote from 18-19 March.
According to the advertisement, the applicant must be an Indian citizen, be medically healthy and be between 18 and 40 years of age.
Along with the original documents, candidates have also been asked to bring five duly attested photocopies of their Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card or Driving License. Candidates also need to submit a character certificate issued by the relevant village sarpanch, original medical fitness certificate from an authorized medical officer and original police verification certificate.
Officials recommended that suitable candidates should be present at the relevant brigade locations on the specified dates for the recruitment process.
