World’s Tallest Building: Central Park Tower in New York City is the tallest residential building in the world. The 472.4-meter-tall skyscraper is located on West 57th Street, often referred to as Manhattan’s Billionaire Street. The tower captured the world’s attention not only because of its height, but also because it houses some of the tallest livable apartments ever built.
Developed by Extell Development Company, the building rises well above surrounding structures, making it a prominent part of the New York skyline. Its design allows even the lower floors to be located higher than many neighboring buildings.

The building sits on a raised base, allowing all residential units to benefit from expansive views of the city.
