WrestleMania 42: Bron Breakker costs Seth Rollins match against Gunther

Seth Rollins was supposed to face Gunther at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday night, but he didn’t expect a freight train to pass through him.

Towards the end of the match, Rollins appeared to be in the driver’s seat. He hit Gunther with a pedigree on the announce table and created a storm in his wake. All he had to do was bring Gunther back into the ring and finish the job. While the referee was tending to Gunther, a wild Bron Breakker emerged.

Breakker ran at full speed off the edge of the entrance ramp of Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and smashed Rollins with a gnarly spear. He rolled Rollins back into the ring, spat on him, and waited for Gunther to finish him off.

Gunther held Rollins in the sleeper hold, forcing “The Revolutionary” to come out.

Gunther walked to the back as the winner. Breakker was passed around to separate the crumbs.

Breakker ran down the ramp and hit Rollins with another crushing spear, stunning the crowd.

Breakker has been out for a few weeks due to an injury, likely costing him some sort of match at WrestleMania 42. However, there was still bad blood as his rivalry with Rollins had reached fever pitch.

This won’t be the last time for Breakker and Rollins. On the other hand, Paul Heyman will now owe Gunther a favor. It will be interesting to see how kindness is translated into money.
