The heavy floods of the Eastern states of Pakistan issued urgent warnings and replaced tens of thousands of people. India worsened after leaving water to the low border regions from its full dams and swollen rivers. Authorities in Pakistan confirmed the “high to high to high” flood level in the bra, Ravi and Chenab rivers. Pakistan’s Punjab State Government called the army to provide instant relaxation in seven regions, including Narowal.
As the rivers swell, mass evacuations continue
According to the Pakistan National Disaster Management Institution (NDMA), nearly 200,000 people moved from floods to security. More than 14,000 people who were rescued by Kasur, one of the worst hit zones by the savior, were rescued, while more than 89,000 Bawalnagar had shifted from Bahawalnagar. NDMA advised the inhabitants against rivers, rivers or low spaces and against all official warnings. Increased water levels and continuous evacuation emphasize the effect of the humanitarian crisis in the region.
