Youth allegedly stabbed to death at Palluruthy

A 31-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by three persons at Karma Lane in Ernakulam’s Palluruthy area on Saturday night (May 30). The deceased was identified as Shijoy, Vinod’s son and a native of Palluruthy.

While one of the accused, Jenson, was arrested by the Palluthy police on Sunday, May 31, in connection with the incident, two others, also from Palluthy, were in police custody. The accused, all natives of Palluthy, are painting workers.

According to police, the murder sparked an argument over a modified bicycle belonging to Jenson. Police are investigating whether the accused had any previous rivalry with Shijoy.
