Youth Attacks RTC Bus Driver, Conductor in Krishna District

vijayawada: Tension prevailed in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district after a youth attacked the RTC bus driver and conductor for not stopping the vehicle. The incident took place near Royyuru in Thotlavalluru Mandate.

According to reports, Avanigadda-Vijayawada RTC bus driver Suresh and conductor Leelaprasad were attacked by a youth identified as Krishnaprasad. Angry that the bus did not stop, the person blocked the front of the bus with a two-wheeled vehicle and attacked the vehicle and the personnel.

Passengers reportedly tried to calm him down by explaining that the bus could not be stopped due to lack of space, but he refused to listen. During the argument, he also verbally abused the passengers.

The incident caused traffic disruption on Karakatta road for about an hour. The police then detained the suspect. Thotlavalluru SI Kishore said that a case was registered against him based on the complaint made by the driver.
