Sunny Moffat: Plea for help to find missing diabetic teenager who walked out of Churchlands school

Police are seeking help finding a teenage boy with Type 1 diabetes who went missing from Churchlands school on Thursday morning.
A spokesman said Police had concerns for the welfare of 14-year-old Sunny Neil Boyd Moffat.
Sunny’s worried father Wayne Moffat said he feared his son could lose consciousness without access to insulin.
The man, who appealed for help on a community Facebook page, said the boy walked out of Churchlands High School just before noon and had been missing ever since.
“Sunny has Type 1 diabetes and has not eaten since 7.46am this morning and does not have any communications or diabetes monitoring device with her,” Mr Moffat wrote.
“He was last seen wearing his school uniform, a turquoise polo shirt and long dark blue trousers.
“Police are searching the Churchlands, Wembley and Scarborough area. He may be unconscious. If you see him please call 000.”
Police said Sunny was described as being of medium height with brown hair.
Anyone who sees him or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately on 131 444.
Information can also be reported to Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000.
