11-Year-Old Becomes First Kid to Read 100 Hours to Shelter Pets

Nehemiah, an 11-year-old from Florida, became the first child to complete 100 hours of reading to pets at the local animal shelter, the Jacksonville Humane Society. The young boy has been working on his goal for two years and says he especially enjoys reading to dogs in the hope it will help them calm down and find homes faster.
