Espionage case: Court extends YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra’s judicial custody till Sep 10

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, a court in Hisar extended the judicial custody of Youtuber Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested on suspicion of espionage in May on September 10th.
His lawyer, Kumar, said that Malhotra was produced through a video conference before Sunil Kumar, the judiciary of the judiciary (first class), and the court sent him to judicial custody until September 10th.
Previously, on August 25, his judicial custody was extended until September 2.
Mrs. Malhotra, who came from Hisar and directed a YouTube channel ‘Jo’, was arrested by Hisar police on May 16th.
After giving a copy of Chargeset to Mrs. Malhotra, his lawyer said that the police made an application in court on the previous hearing on the previous hearing, and that a certain part of the document should not be given to him and that he was secret and sensitive.
The police had a 2,500 -page Chargeseset in the case.
Mr. Mukesh filed a petition by claiming that a complete Challan was not presented by the police during the 90 -day period and that the investigation in the case was not completed.
Ms. Malhotra was arrested in the new Aggarsain extension and was reserved in accordance with the official Secrets Law and Bharatia Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) provisions.
On June 9, a court rejected a regular defense of bail.
The police then opposed the guarantee, arguing that the investigation in this case was still continuing.
Hisar police claimed that Malhotra had previously had no evidence to indicate that Malhotra could have access to military or defense, but that he was in contact with some people and that they were a Pakistan intelligence operator.
Police resources have previously said that EHSAN-URRAHRHİM, a personnel in the Pakistan Supreme Commission since November 2023, was in contact with Danish.
India fired Mr. Danish on May 13, allegedly engaged in espionage.
In May, the police claimed that Pakistani intelligence operators developed Ms. Malhotra as “asset”.
