In order to determine the total payment packages of 136 Football Bowl sub -coaches for the current contract years, USA Today Sports demanded all kinds of compensation for coach from all public schools and received other statements from federal tax records or private schools.

There are 26 schools or athletics departments within private or within the scope of public schools. The schools that provide contract documents were given the opportunity to review their figures. Recent changes in college football playoff format and old division structures of various conferences, schools were given the opportunity to provide information about how these changes affected the existing bonus provisions.
