Jeffries calls Noem ‘cold liar’ and demands investigation over response to Minneapolis shooting

Democratic leaders in Congress condemned the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis on Thursday, calling for an immediate investigation and rejecting the narrative of the shooting provided by the President. Donald Trump’s management.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (DY) made the statement, joined by the Senate Minority Leader. Chuck SchumerDY at the press conference held on Thursday morning. Jeffries accused Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem of being a “cold liar,” while Schumer said he doesn’t trust the current administration to adequately investigate the attack.

“Let me first say that the murder of Renee Nicole Good is an abomination, a disgrace. And there is clearly blood on the hands of those within the administration who are pushing an extreme policy that has nothing to do with immigration enforcement related to the removal of violent criminals from this country,” Jeffries said.READ MORE.
