4.5% Bihar Voters Not Found At Registered Address: EC

New Delhi: Approximately 4.5 percent of Biha voters were not found in their registered addresses. The Election Commission said on Wednesday that “Booth – Level Officers (BLOS) will make three visits to re -verify these voters who can be carried permanently or registered in more than one place.” He said. “As of Thursday, this information will be shared with the regional heads of political parties and the 1.5 Lakh cabin level agents. The exact status of these voters can be confirmed until July 25th.”

In order to ensure that the appropriate voters do not stay outside, special camps are being established in 5,683 wards of Bihar’s 261 urban local organs (ULBs). As nine days left, only 6.85 percent of voters have not yet completed the numbering forms to be included in the election roller to be published on August 1.
