40-Year-Old Woman Found Dead In Penthouse Bathroom

hyderabad: A 40-year-old woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in the bathroom of her penthouse in Madhuranagar on Thursday morning.

The deceased Harika, a native of Guntur district, lived alone in the attic above Bhargavi Women’s Hostel. After not being seen for two days, the inmates in the building became alarmed and a bad smell began to spread from the room.

They informed the Madhuranagar Police and when the police reached the spot, they found her decomposed body in the bathroom. Initial investigation shows that the woman died two days ago, possibly after falling in the bathroom.

The body was taken to Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. While an investigation has been launched into the incident, the investigation continues to determine the exact cause of death. Police said they were investigating all angles, including natural causes and homicide.
