50 Cent asked judge to bail drug dealer to work on European tour

Green said BBC detectives were initially skeptical that 50 Cent would support Hassan’s bail application, but the judge rejected the request.
“Any time something like this comes along, it’s a pretty unique moment and I think the team is a little bit shocked,” he said.
“You clearly think it’s fake at the beginning…Obviously it’s one of those things you never forget as part of an investigation.”
But Hassan’s defense team later presented photos and videos showing him on private jets and on U.S. tour dates, detectives said.
The rapper also submitted another letter for the sentencing hearing as part of Hassan’s mitigation.
50 Cent said he has “known and worked closely with her for many years, both professionally and personally.”
The rapper said in his letter: “I write as someone who trusts him [Hassan] I am someone who works directly in my business and knows its character from years of first-hand experience.
“I am aware of the matter that brought Mr Hassan to court and I am not writing to belittle its seriousness. I am simply writing to the court to give an honest account of the man I have come to know through working with him over the years.”
Later in the letter, 50 Cent said Hassan “will be provided employment” upon his release, adding: “His experience, reliability, and business savvy make him someone I would welcome back without hesitation.”
