60 centres get ready for Inter supplementary exams

Visakhapatnam Joint Collector Gobbilla Vidyadhari on Friday directed officials of various departments to ensure smooth and error-free conduct of Intermediate Advanced Supplementary examinations scheduled from May 21 to June 2.

Chairing the coordination review meeting, he said that 60 examination centers have been established in the region for the first and second year public intermediate level theoretical and practical exams. First year exams will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and second year exams will be held from 14.30 to 17.30.

He instructed the officials to ensure uninterruptible power supply, drinking water, lighting, toilets, desks and other basic amenities at all centres. Police security, enforcement of Section 144 near centres, closure of photocopy shops within 200 metres, medical assistance and special APSRTC bus services have also been directed.
