Keir Starmer’s statement in full on the recognition of Palestine

Sir Keir Starmer confirmed that Britain will greatly recognize a historical Palestinian state with a symbolic movement.
The Prime Minister said that the movement aims to “revive the hope of peace for the Palestinians and the Israelis”.
This week, in front of the UN General Assembly, with other countries, including Australia and Canada, is doing similar movements shortly before Sir Keir’s statement.
The United Kingdom government admitted that the recognition of the Palestinian state would not ease the human crisis in Gaza or that Hamas would not contribute to the release of hostages.

Here is the expression of Sir Keir Starmer:
Uz We act to keep peace in the face of growing horror in the Middle East and to keep the possibility of a two-state solution alive.
“Ordinary people deserve to live in Israel and Palestinian, peace, and try to rebuild their lives without violence and suffering. They want to see the British desperately.
“Nevertheless, almost two years after the barbarian attacks on October 7, hostages are still held by Hamas terrorists. The latest images show that hostages are suffering and weakened. Hamas refuses to even release all the bodies of the dead.
Im I met British families from hostages.
“The hostages should be released immediately and we will continue to fight to bring them home. Come on, Frank-Hamas is a brutal organization. Our call for a real two-state solution is the opposite of hateful visions.
“That’s why we are clear – this solution is not a reward for Hamas, because it means that Hamas will not have the future. There is no role in the government. There is no role in security.
“We have already banned and approved Hamas and we will go even further – in the coming weeks, I directed other Hamas figures for sanctions.
“In the meantime, the human -made human crisis in Gaza reaches new depths. The attack, hunger and destruction of the Israeli government’s recent weeks, the brutal and increasing bombardment of Gaza is completely unbearable.
Tens of thousands of people, including thousands of people, were killed when they tried to collect food and water. This death and destruction terrify all of us.
“Now we have evacuated the first patient and wounded group of children to be treated by NHS. And we continue to increase our human support. But still, it doesn’t get enough help.
“We call on the Israeli government to remove unacceptable restrictions on the border, to stop these brutal tactics and to increase the help.
“With Hamas’s actions, the Israeli government breathes the hope of a two -state solution that increases the conflict and the settlement in the West Bank. However, we cannot allow light to come out.
“Therefore, we develop consensus with the leaders in the region and beyond our peace framework.
“This is behind a series of steps that lead people together to negotiations about a two -state solution, including the reform of a common vision and Palestinian authority to bring people together.
“We will continue to put forward this. As part of this effort, in July to recognize the Palestinian status – I put forward the conditions that we would act in accordance with our manifest.
“At that moment has come now. Today, to revive the hope of peace and a two -state solution, I clearly state that Britain officially knows the Palestinian state as the prime minister of this great country.
“More than 75 years ago, we know the Israeli state as a homeland for the Jewish people.
Orum I know the power of feeling that this conflict provokes.
“But that doesn’t solve anything. We shouldn’t only stay with our hatred, but we must also double our efforts to fight hatred.
“By bringing our efforts together with hope, we must channel the peaceful future we want to see: the release of hostages, the end of violence, the end of pain, and the best hope for peace and safety for all sides.”
