BLA Claims Killing Six Pakistan Army Personnel In Balochistan Clashes | World News

The Baloch Liberation Army (Blala) took responsibility for killing six Pakistani Army personnel in recent clashes in various parts of Balochistan. According to the statement of Bla spokesman Jeeyand Baloch, three of his fighters were killed during the clashes in Quetta, Kalat and Siahji.

In the Kohak region of Kalat, BLA fighters reportedly launched a series of intensive attacks targeting Pakistani military convoys using improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and motorcycles and other vehicles.

The statement also claimed that on June 22, a Blasting unit of the Pakistan army in the Daghari region of Quetta, and caused an armed conflict. Previously, on June 20, Bla fighters fought a fire with Pakistani security forces in the Lingasi region of Dasht, allegedly exposed to Pakistani forces.

The Baloch Liberation Army is an armed separatist group operating in Balochistan, the largest but least developed state of Pakistan.

The Group has long argued for an independent Baloch state by showing historical complaints, political marginalization, economic exploitation and military pressure by the Pakistan government.

Blala is accused of benefiting from the wide natural resources of Balochistan, such as gas, minerals and coastal assets without benefiting the local population. It also opposes large-scale infrastructure attempts such as inferences and harmful China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which he sees as harmful for Baloch interests.

International Human Rights Organizations such as Human Rights Monitoring Organization and International Amnesty International has increased concerns about the widespread disappearance of BALOCH activists, students, journalists and political workers, including the challenging disappearance of the alleged disappearance and unjust murders allegedly carried out by Pakistani security forces and intelligence agencies.
