Former Haryana CM Hooda blames low procurement of crop on government’s “arbitrary” new rules

Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that both products and producers (farmers) are facing constant shortage in foodgrain markets across the state due to non-functionality of online portal, non-creation of gates, non-conducting of tenders and non-acquisition of any purchase, destocking or payment.

Mr. Hooda, who constantly visits grain markets across the state, visited Sohna grain market on Monday, April 13, 2026. He interacted with farmers, Arhtiyas (commission representatives) and workers.
