Erin Patterson enlists human rights barrister Julian McMahon

Erin Patterson’s new lawyer represented the Australians who faced the death penalty abroad, and the high -profile killer was preparing to appeal while he was preparing to appeal.
Julian McMahon reportedly worked as a new deadline to challenge decisions within a month in Patterson’s conviction.
Mr. McMahon is a friend of the Australian Order (AC) and a senior consultant (SC or “silk”), and among the highest profile defenders, Bali Nine’s heroin smuggling is the bell -smuggling daughters.
McMahon, an anti -death penalty campaign, received the Victoria Legal Foundation Seçkin Pro Bono Service Award.
At the largest penalty hearing of Australia for decades, Patterson was found guilty of killing Don and Gail Patterson and Heather Wilkinson earlier this year and Ian Wilkinson’s attempt to kill Welkington’s poisonous meal.
Last month, a 33 -year -old parole was sentenced to life imprisonment.
At the Victoria Supreme Court on Thursday, one of his lawyers confirmed that Patterson aimed to object to convictions and that the appeal application was pushed to 3 November.
In the absence of official documents, the reasons for objection remain uncertain.
At a 11 -week hearing this year, Colin Mandy Sc pioneered the defense of Patterson.
Mr. McMahon has now been reported to have been recruited.

In addition to representing Bali Nine Ringleader, McMahon, Melbourne Man van Tuong Nguyen, a client, was in Singapore Prison on the day of her hanging in 2005.
In an interview with ABC in 2001, Mr. McMahon described the work of himself and his colleagues as gözme looking at people who do not really want to defend anyone else ”.
Although not in court on Thursday, Mr. McMahon successfully discussed his appeals in the past. Akon has reduced Guode’s 26½ -year sentence (not parole for 20 years) to a minimum of 14 years to 18 years. In 2015, Guode killed his twin four -year -old children, killed them at 16 months old, and tried to kill his five -year -old child.
Although McMahon represented Guode during the Supreme Court, this case was discussed and appealed to the Supreme Court.
Patterson, who was sentenced to the high court, hopes his case to be taken to the appeal court.
When the lawyers make a notification, the Court of Appeal will decide whether the case will be heard.
If the appeal continues and Patterson succeeds, the court will resolve the conviction or order a new hearing or acquitted it.
Newswire’s attempts to communicate with Mr. McMahon failed. He refused to verify his relationship with his office Patterson.
