On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the United Democratic Front (UDF) opposition led by Congress in Kerala, including the Sabarimala Temple, including sculptures, including the complex stone carriers, including the high court of the Central Classroom Folios (CBI) requested the investigation.
The opposition leader vd Satesean said that between 2019-2025, gilded covers were seemingly removed from the temple for repair and renovation, and then taken to the workshops in Haydarabad and Chennai. “The case had consequences between the states and was lying beyond the judicial authority of Kerala Police,” he said.
Mr. Satesean stated that the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) appointed Unnikrishnan Lotty, a former temple assistant to remove gold coatings donated by businessman Vijay Malaya in 1999, from the repair temple in a workshop in Chennai.
Mr. Satesean said that the mystery was deepened by Mr. Lotty, about four months after the detention of the works, that the metal panels accumulated for the restoration of the restoration were deepened.
Mr Satesean said that an internal audit conducted by the wiper of the TDB in 2019 was a consistency in the weight between the original panels and those who return after repair.
“In the public field, there has been enough evidence that Mr. Pasty has passed to their homes for private worship around religious objects. He also suspects that Mr. Lotty has detained the gilded plaques for four months and that there is no satisfactory explanation of what has passed throughout the period.”
Mr. Satesean said that Sabarimala temple works were “infinite emotional value için for their dedicated Ayyappa. They were worried that someone could reproduce the original gilded panels in a different metal to play the original plates for their tremendous religious values.
Moreover, TDB’s mysterious classification of the panels allocated for repair in 2019 pure copper begged the question of what happened to the original gold coatings established in 1999.
Mr. Satese said that Mr. Potty claimed that he had a TDB certificate that was made from copper and classified because it did not contain gold.
Despite the alert, which expressed skepticism about the change of the works that TDB returned by Mr. Potty in 2019 and the skepticism about the metallic nature, Sabarimala Devaswom re -commissioned it to repair the temple covers in Chennai.
The Minister said that the UDF will raise the “government’s deception” on the streets on the streets on Monday, October 6, 2025.
