Retailer, High Street’s favorite Claire’s accessories in the United Kingdom in a way to close 145 stores, he confirmed. Claire’s British branch entered the administration on August 13, just a few days after the US parent company applied for bankruptcy on 7 August. Since then, the American business has been sold to a new owner who secured the 950 US stores.
In the UK, Capital has taken a step to save some of it, and Claire’s US owner Ames Watson made an agreement to keep 156 stores open.
