“No Kings” protests against the policies of President Donald Trump and his administration will begin Saturday in cities across the country, declaring “America has No Kings.”

“We stand together against abuse of power, tyranny, and corruption. We gathered on October 18 to remind President Trump and his supporters: America Has No King!” The movement’s website states upcoming Saturday protests/

Protests declaring “there are no kings” in America were first mobilized on Presidents’ Day in February to condemn the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency and cuts to the federal government. But the “No to Kings” movement gained national prominence in June when Trump organized a military parade to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, which also coincided with his 79th birthday.

Tens of thousands of protesters took to the streets in Washington, Los Angeles, Denver, New York, Philadelphia and elsewhere to protest what they saw as Trump’s “coronation” day and other administration policies, including ongoing deportation efforts.

The “No Kings” website summarizes: “The world saw the power of the people. President Trump’s birthday march was crushed by protests in every state and around the world. An attempt to turn Juneteenth into a coronation collapsed, and the story became the force of a rising movement against his authoritarian power grab.”

Four months later, “No to Kings” protests will be held in cities such as Philadelphia, New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Hartford, Connecticut, to protest the Trump administration and focus on speaking out against the administration’s efforts to deport millions of illegal immigrants living in the United States. The group says on its website that it predicts “millions of people across the country” will “march against authoritarian policies and billionaire takeovers.”

“President Trump has doubled down. His administration is terrorizing our communities by sending masked agents onto our streets,” says the “No Kings” website. “They target immigrant families, profile people without consent, arrest and detain them. They threaten to overtake elections. They destroy health care, conservation and education when families need it most. They rig maps to silence voters. They ignore mass shootings in our schools and communities. They raise the cost of living while handing out huge gifts to our billionaire allies while families struggle.” “They increase it.”

The protests are being organized by left-wing groups like Indivisible, a grassroots progressive organization behind anti-Trump protests dating back to the 2016 election, as well as other groups like the American Federation of Teachers, ACLU, Greenpeace, Human Rights Campaign, MoveOn, National Nurses United, Public Citizen and Service Employees International Union, according to its website.

On its website, the group repeatedly urges participants to protest peacefully. The “No to Kings” protests in Los Angeles in June turned into chaos when “agitators who came here to create chaos” attacked police officers, the Los Angeles County sheriff told local media at the time.

Protests on Saturday are expected to focus on Trump’s immigration policies, including his alleged “authoritarian takeover of cities — deploying federal forces, commandeering local police departments, and funding mass detention and deportation operations” — and the movement’s ongoing claims that Trump rules himself more like a monarch than a president.

“President Trump has publicly said he wants a third term, and he is already acting like a monarch; seizing control of D.C., threatening other cities, and using federal forces against his own people. But the American people do not bow to kings. Together, we will peacefully take action in large numbers to reject this corruption and abuse of power; it is in our DNA as a country,” the group’s website says.

Fox News Digital reached out to the movement’s organizers for additional comment about the upcoming demonstrations but did not immediately receive a response Thursday.

“Who cares?” White House press secretary Abigail Jackson told Fox News Digital on Saturday when asked about the upcoming protests.

The Trump administration has been on an immigration blitz since Trump took office again on Jan. 20, with federal law enforcement such as ICE agents converging on cities to eliminate illegal immigrants. Trump has simultaneously targeted U.S. cities one by one for a general crime cleanup, including ordering the federalization of Washington D.C. policing and sending the National Guard to the city in August, where Los Angeles, Memphis and Portland are also facing similar crime-reduction efforts. But Trump’s attempt to launch crime cleanup efforts in Portland and Los Angeles has stalled in the courts.

Trump’s 2024 campaign placed great emphasis on ending the illegal immigration crisis and reducing crime in the United States; voters frequently cited these issues as among their top concerns heading to the polls.

The “No Kings” website describes its goals for October 18: “Whether you are outraged by attacks on civil rights, skyrocketing costs, kidnappings and disappearances, destruction of essential services, or attacks on free speech, this is the moment for you. Whether you have been struggling for years or are fed up and ready to take action, this is the moment for you.”

The protests came after Trump and his administration brokered a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel; That agreement includes the president traveling to Israel and Egypt in early October to speak directly with world leaders, and Trump meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday and a meeting with Ukrainian President Vlodomyr Zelenskyy at the White House on Friday, part of a separate war between those countries, set for 2022.
