A school student driving an Audi car crashed into two vehicles in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Tuesday (October 21), city police said. The minor driver then told cops that he was the son of Congress member of the legislative assembly (MLA) and former state minister Rajkumar Sharma. According to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the police, the man also allegedly became aggressive towards the driver of one of the cars he hit.

The Audi car hit a Maruti Swift and pushed it into a divider. Both people in the Swift car were injured and filed a complaint with the police. Pulkit Pareek, one of those in the building, told NDTV that he was carrying blood from the blood bank for his brother-in-law when the speeding Audi hit his car from behind. After the collision, the car crashed into a platform built on top of the barrier. Pareek told the publication that he received seven stitches in his head. He and his friend were discharged from the hospital after their initial treatment.

Pareek claimed that the Audi driver threatened him by saying he was the MLA’s son and told him to “get some money” and “get your car fixed”. In the FIR, Pareek said that the Audi driver looked very young and estimated his age to be around 16. He also claimed that the teenager tried to attack him as well. Police said the second car hit by the Audi left the scene and its driver did not file a complaint. The Audi’s airbags were deployed at the time of the collision with other cars. Meanwhile, Pareek demanded strict action against the underage driver.
