Mother-of-one won’t live to see her little son turn three after she learned jealousy over her husband hid a worse truth than she could have imagined

A mother-of-one will not live to see her child turn three after learning the shocking reason why she is jealous of her husband.

Chloe Richmond, 25, from Halifax, West Yorkshire, had suffered from migraines for years; Doctors attributed this to the stress of losing both parents at a young age.

Her father Nick died of a heart attack in 2016 when Chloe was 16, and three years later her mother Georgina passed away from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

After her mother’s death, Chloe started having ‘unbearable’ headaches.

‘I stressed them out at first,’ he said. ‘The doctor said these were migraines caused by depression after a double loss.’

In 2023, Chloe had plenty of reasons to celebrate as she married husband Joe and welcomed a little son named Jonah in October.

But the young mother said she often lashes out at friends and family members because of her headache. And it was her husband, Joe, who bore the brunt of her anger.

‘I became really argumentative and angry with my husband,’ she said Sun Health. ‘I now know that these were all symptoms.’

Chloe even admitted that she was jealous of Joe because she thought he was looking at another woman while he was watching TV.

Chloe married her husband Joe in 2023, and they had a little son named Jonah in October of the same year.

But it was an argument with Joe that eventually led to his diagnosis.

After the couple split in September, Chloe moved out and went to stay with her brother.

While there, he fainted and became confused; He couldn’t remember where he was or where his son Yunus was.

Concerned family members immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he underwent a series of scans.

These tests revealed a brain tumor, and he was told that without emergency surgery he would die.

Although doctors at Leeds General Infirmary managed to remove most of the tumour, Chloe was told on October 1, the day before little Jonah’s second birthday, that it was malignant (cancerous) and incurable.

Over the next few weeks, Chloe will be told how much time she has left to live.

If it is a third degree tumor, he may have a lifespan of two years. However, if it is a fourth degree tumor, he may have less than a year to live and he will not live to see Yunus’s third birthday.

“I’m so sad that I won’t get to see my son grow up,” Chloe said.

But the 25-year-old is determined not to let his diagnosis define him.

‘My mother was very brave when she was sick, and I want to be the same,’ she said. ‘My entire focus is on Jonah; He’s such a beautiful little boy and I want to be there for him.’
