The talks reportedly took place in the summer before the resurfacing of an email she sent to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2011.
A friend of Fergie told Sun: “A lot has happened since his last memory almost twenty years ago, including getting cancer twice and becoming a grandparent.
“This isn’t designed to exonerate Andrew, but obviously Andrew can’t get her out of this situation because he’s such an important part of her life. She couldn’t write a memoir without Andrew in it.”
He published his memoir, My Story, in 1996; That same year, she officially divorced Prince Andrew.
The statement shared her time as a member of the Royal Family, as well as the collapse of her marriage to Andrew and the media scrutiny she faced.
Sarah also published her second memoir, Finding Sarah, in 2011.
In this book, Sarah wrote about her financial struggles and personal struggles. While speculation has increased over a potential third memoir, nothing has been confirmed.
