Viral video: Nvidia’s Jensen Huang enjoys beer and fried chicken with Hyundai, Samsung chiefs; brings gifts for fans
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang was seen hanging out with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Chief Executive Officer Euisun Chung, and his video went viral on social media.
The spread of the video on social media surprised Huang’s fans.
Jensen Huang had previously met the chiefs of Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor during his first official visit to South Korea in more than a decade on Thursday.
In the evening, the three CEOs met over beer and fried chicken in Gangnam, South Korea.
They met as part of a popular Korean after-work pairing known as “chimaek” at Kkanbu Chicken, a local restaurant chain in Seoul’s upscale district.

Jensen Huang, Lee Jae-yong, and Euisun Chung met at Kkanbu Chicken in the evening, and the restaurant’s name roughly translates to “close friend” or “trusted partner.”
Jensen Huang delivers gifts, pays everyone’s bills
Hundreds of fans and media personnel gathered in the restaurant area to see Jensen Huang and his partners.
The CEO of Nvidia, whose AI chip manufacturing company was the first to reach a $5 trillion market cap, is known for interacting with fans and taking selfies.
And it didn’t disappoint.
According to an X user, Huang had so much fun at the restaurant that he stood up and cheered on everyone inside. He then said the dinners were his and urged customers to “enjoy chicken and beer.”
According to AFP, the Nvidia CEO emerged from the restaurant wearing a black T-shirt and dark trousers and handed out baskets of chicken and fried cheese to those gathered outside.
Huang gave Lee and Chung an AI computer with a note on each box that read, “To our partnership and the future of the world.”
At the same time, he took photos with the managers, arm in arm, to symbolize friendship and trust.
What is Jensen Huang doing in South Korea?
Jensen Huang made an official visit to South Korea, where he met with Hyundai and Samsung chiefs and noted Nvidia’s deepening ties with technology and automotive companies.
Nvidia on Friday struck a major deal to supply its technology to Samsung Electronics Co., Hyundai Motor Group and SK Group.
He had previously said he was looking forward to meeting South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Friday.
Huang is in the country to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit on Friday.
His meeting with Samsung and Hyundai executives came before the Nvidia CEO’s expected announcement of deals with South Korean companies that he said would “please U.S. President Donald Trump and South Korea.”
