Halewood emergency: Armed police swarm residential street | UK | News

Armed police descended on a residential street in Halewood, while the road was cordoned off as emergency services rushed to the scene. Merseyside Police, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and North West Ambulance Service are on standby for the emergency on Arncliffe Road.
It is not yet clear what the nature of the incident is. Merseyside Police have been approached for comment.
A man living on the street told Liverpool Echo: “The police have been here for hours. Everyone has been evacuated from the block. I heard an argument earlier. I went out on business. On the way back I saw the police flying down Macket’s Lane and I thought I’d bet they came here.”
