Police urged locals to “stay away from the area” near the Boston Police Station after a suspicious device was found on Tuesday morning. The incident led to the arrival of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit area.

A police cordon was also established, while a bus terminal and many roads were closed. While residents were being evacuated, officials said the recreation center for those asked to leave their offices and homes was the City Hall on Western Street, PE21 8QR.
