Lava soars 1,100 ft above Hawaii’s Kilauea in latest eruption

Hawaii’s Kilauea Volcano, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupted again on November 9, sending a massive jet of lava into the air.
The US Geological Survey said the volcano erupted continuously for 5 hours and the lava reached 300-330 m (1000-1100 ft) during this event.
This is the 36th eruption episode since December 23, 2024, according to the USGS.
