GMB fans blast ’embarrassing’ West Streeting interview as they beg ‘Please stop’ | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were left desperate to investigate whether Wes Streeting would run for the leadership after the Health Secretary released an official statement denying rumors that the Health Secretary was planning a leadership challenge against Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

But Good Morning Britain viewers were forced to air the same complaint during the tense interview after Streeting told Reid and Madeley: “What happened to me overnight is the most unfair attack on a believer since Joe Marler was suspended in the final.”

Streeting was referring to the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors programme, as Reid and Madeley were in the build-up to the minister’s interview, with viewers reacting on social media. One person wrote: “How many Traitor references does ITV want to air this morning? Is this embarrassing?”
