Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool on Wimbledon win, topping world rankings & Louis Cayer’s influence

There’s only one thing Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool haven’t gotten along with this year.
In their first season together, the British duo won the Wimbledon men’s doubles title and secured the world number one spot by the end of the year.
But postseason logs are another matter.
Glasspool will celebrate his triumphant season with a dinner at a swanky London restaurant with his family, team members and sponsors.
But thanks to a pre-booked holiday in Tenerife, Cash will have to pass up the opportunity.
“Everyone will be there except Jules. She’ll be on a drunken teenagers’ trip,” Glasspool joked.
“There’ll be a few beers, but mostly golf and padel. We’ll both be celebrating separately,” Cash laughed.
The relaxed exchange is a testament to the friendship that has helped Cashpool, 29, and Glasspool, 32, become the best men’s team in the world.
Their rise has also helped Britain retain its place as the leading force in men’s doubles.
