RTIH Unveils SPARK to Guide Early-Stage Innovators and Student Entrepreneurs

vijayawada: Ratan Tata Center for Innovation (RTIH) has launched its flagship Idea Research Programme, SPARK, which aims to support early-stage innovators, students and aspiring entrepreneurs in transforming their concepts into viable, scalable solutions.
The program was inaugurated by Kondapalli Srinivas, Minister for MSME, SERP and NRI Empowerment and Engagement, Andhra Pradesh government, highlighting the state’s commitment to creating an innovation-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Emphasizing that entrepreneurs play a very important role in driving social transformation and economic growth, the Minister said, “Our state and our country need more young entrepreneurs who will be the torchbearers of development. Initiatives such as SPARK offer the right guidance and support to emerging innovators.”
Dhatri Reddy, CEO of RTIH and APIS, explained that the program focuses on structured idea validation and early-stage mentoring. “Innovation begins with curiosity, but is only effective through structure, discipline, and continuous learning. SPARK is designed to bridge this journey and help individuals move from raw ideas to meaningful, actionable solutions,” he said.
The three-day boot camp offers participants expert-led masterclasses, practical frameworks, personalized guidance and peer learning opportunities. The curriculum includes pathways to idea validation, value proposition development, market analysis and prototype development, and start-up formation.
