Hamas says it is consulting other groups on ceasefire plan

Hamas said that he had consulted other Palestinian groups before an official response to the final proposal for a new Gaza ceasefire and hostage release agreement put forward by the USA.

President Donald Trump is expected to know whether Hamas accepted the plan on Friday morning.

On Tuesday, Trump said that Israel has accepted the necessary conditions for the 60 -day ceasefire, and the parties would work to end the 20 -month war.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Army continues to bomb the goals in the Gaza Strip.

Local journalists reported that the Israeli helicopter arms ships and artillery heard explosions and gunfire as they hit South Khan Younis on Friday morning.

Local Nasser Hospital said that at least 15 Palestinians in Khan Younis have killed at strikes in two tents, which host people in Khan Younis.

The Israeli army has not yet commented on strikes, but said that their forces were “operating to dismantle their military capabilities”.

In a statement published early on Friday, Hamas said he had discussed the cease -fire offer from other Palestinian factions and the regional mediator Qatar and Egypt.

Hamas said that when the consultations ended, the mediators would make a “final decision” and officially announce it.

The proposal is believed to be staggered by the bodies of 10 living Israeli hostages and 18 hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.

At least 20 of them are believed to be alive in Gaza is still held fifty hostage.

One of the basic demands of Hamas is the restart of unlimited food and medical aid to Gaza, and the proposal says that with the participation of the United Nations and the Red Cross, it is reported that sufficient amounts will enter the region.

The plan is also said to include a gradual Israeli military withdrawal from the Gaza regions.

First of all, Hamas wants a guarantee that Israel will not continue after the end of the 60 -day ceasefire.

It is believed that the proposal says that the end of the war and the release of the remaining hostages will begin on the first day.

Donald Trump told reporters that he expects to know whether the suggestions would be accepted by Hamas in the early hours of Friday.

At that time, Umut will have official, indirect and negotiations in front of a visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Washington next week.

“We hope that this is a finished agreement, but I think Hamas will be willing to accept.”

“Something is clear: the president wants it to end. The Prime Minister wants it to end. American people, Israeli people want to end.”

Meanwhile, Netanyahu promised to release all the hostages during a visit to Kibbutz Nir Oz, a community of 76 residents during the attack led by Hamas, which triggered the war on October 7, 2023, to the Israeli-Gazze border.

“First of all, I feel a deep commitment to make all our hostages come back,” he said. “We will bring them back.”

However, he did not commit to the end of the war. The hostages insisted that Hamas would not be realized until the army and management capabilities of Hamas would not be destroyed.

The Israeli Army launched a campaign in Gaza, where approximately 1,200 people were killed and 251 people were hostage in Gaza.

According to the Ministry of Health operated by Hamas of the region, at least 57,130 people have been killed in Gaza since then.
