Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Orders Complete Withdrawal From Punjab By-Polls, Reaffirms Boycott Stance | World News

İslamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) issued strict instructions to fully comply with all party officials and workers in Punjab province to fully comply with the decision to boycott the upcoming elections in Punjab and led all their candidates to withdraw their nominations on Saturday.
In a statement published by the PTI Central Media Department, Geo News reiterated its full participation in Punjab By-Polls. The statement clearly stated that the PTI will not enter the election process under any circumstances.
Although the party had previously thought about the competition for the National Assembly of the country (NA) -129, he was evacuated after the death of senior politician Mian Muhammad Azhar and his son Hammad Azhar referred to personal reasons. According to Geo News, some people presented nomination certificates under the name of the PTI and asked the party to confirm all these candidates to withdraw immediately. PTI left everyone who used the party’s identity.

The PTI stressed that the decision to boycott the elections is definite and that all members should respect and act according to this stance. Separately, after Imran Khan’s call to resign from parliamentary roles, PTI’s Junaid Akbar resigned as the President of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and from the National Assembly Permanent Committee.
In a letter of resignation to Ayaz Sadiq, President of the Pakistan National Assembly, Akbar said that he resigned by “satisfaction and responsibility” as reported by Geo News. NAS’s other PTI members also left their roles in the committee.
Ali Asghar resigned from the cabinet, privatization and planning committees; Sajid Khan, Overseas Pakistanlılar, National Heritage and Kashmir affairs were separated from the committees, even when he was managed to resign from the parliamentary seat, even said.
Faisal Amin Khan, brother of KP Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, resigned from the committee committees of Economic Affairs, Food Safety and Parliament. Shahid Khattak and Asif Khan withdrew from many stagnant committees, including those who focused on education, culture and knowledge, as reported by Geo News.
These resignations reflect the party’s wider political separation strategy as they continue their protests against the current political developments.
