Investigations launched into separate stabbing incidents in SEQ
Police have charged a 35-year-old man with attempted murder following two separate stabbings in south-east Queensland over the weekend.
Emergency services were called to a home on Bank Street in Park Ridge at around 10pm on Friday following an argument between two men.
A 27-year-old Regents Park man was found to be in a life-threatening condition following an alleged stab wound to the chest.
He was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Police arrested a 35-year-old Park Ridge man at the home where the alleged fight took place and said they found the knife allegedly used.
Police think the two knew each other.
Security footage shows the injured man stumbling down a nearby street, screaming for help, before approaching a house with its lights on.
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told Nine News the man who was stabbed was in a “bad way” and there was “blood everywhere”.
He was found by medical teams a short time later.
