Emergency services are attending the scene on Exeter Bridge in Derby city centre. In addition to the fire brigade and police searching for the Derwent River flowing under the bridge, there is also at least one ambulance. It is not yet known whether he is injured or not.

Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was first reported just after 7pm and was handled by police, while a water rescue team from Highlands Fire Station in Nottingham was also present. A spokesman confirmed crews were called from Kingsway, Ascot Drive and Nottingham Road.
