Miley Cyrus openly admitted feeling lonely even in a house full of friends and family, channeling her heartbreak into her 2019 My Sad Christmas Song.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga once bit off the head of a Santa Claus plush toy on stage to vent her holiday frustration.

The singer got brutally honest about her struggles during Christmas.
In 2019, he released My Sad Christmas Song to share his feelings of loneliness.
“A sad Christmas song I wrote a few years ago right before the holidays,” Cyrus wrote on X (formerly Twitter). ‘I felt terrible because I couldn’t be with the person I loved.

His disdain for the holidays extends to decorating.
It announced plans for a ‘gothic Christmas’ in 2020, featuring an all-black tree, rosaries, upside-down crosses and ‘medieval-style vibes’.
He joked that holiday gatherings with his family often ended in “fist fights and usually each of us dragging ourselves away and kind of slamming the door and a bunch of apologies.”

Lady Gaga’s relationship with Christmas was equally chaotic.
