CBSE reschedules March 3 exams for Classes 10 and 12

According to the official announcement, the Class 10 exam, which was scheduled to be held on March 3, 2026, will now be held on March 11, 2026. The homework set for March 3, 2026 for 12th grade students has been postponed to April 10, 2026. The board did not give reasons for the issue due to a longer gap in the Grade 12 programme, and reiterated that the decision was taken purely on administrative grounds.
The rescheduled examination for Class 10 includes Tibetan, German, National Cadet Corps, Bhoti, Limboo, Lepcha and Carnatic Music (Vocal). The postponed assignment for Class 12 is Legal Studies.
