Mahindra launches electric XUV 3XO: Price, features and other key details you need to know
Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, one of India’s leading SUV manufacturers, officially launched the electric version of the popular XUV 3XO called XUV 3XO EV on Tuesday, January 6.
This move also marks the automaker’s ongoing push into the electric vehicle segment, which aims to offer eco-friendly alternatives while meeting the growing demand for electric vehicles in the Indian market.
Mahindra’s latest offering comes at a time when EV adoption in India is expected to accelerate further. Falling battery costs, localization and a wave of new model launches will all further increase penetration, making electric vehicles more accessible and attractive to a wider range of consumers, Mint has previously reported.
How much does an EV cost?
According to the company’s official statement, the starting price of the XUV 3XO EV has been determined as follows: ₹13.89 lakhs.
The entry-level XUV 3XO EV AX5 model carries this base price, while the higher-specced XUV 3XO EV AX7L model carries this base price. ₹14.96 Lakhs.
Launched in April 2024, the XUV 3XO sets a new standard in the subcompact SUV segment by offering a host of segment-leading features, the company said.
He also added that the model has achieved sales of close to 1.8 Lakh since its debut. Building on this success, the XUV 3XO EV is designed for customers who often use their vehicles for urban journeys and are looking for a practical, electric alternative.
Multiple driving modes, 360 degree camera
The XUV 3XO EV offers a spacious design that provides comfort on every journey. Key features include dual-zone air conditioning, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, panoramic sunroof, passive keyless entry and six-way adjustable driver’s seat; This makes it ideal for both urban drivers and long journeys.
In the entertainment segment, drivers can enjoy multiple driving modes: Fun, Fast, Fearless. The vehicle comes with a top-notch infotainment system and high-quality audio, along with many features designed for an engaging and comfortable drive.
Equipped with advanced technology, the XUV 3XO EV provides convenience on every journey by offering connected vehicle features, a 360-degree camera system and a multitude of safety features, including multiple airbags and braking enhancements.
