Dramatic standoff in Minnesota as federal agents with weapons drawn square up to Ilhan Omar’s ‘woke army’ with tensions set to boil over

As Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar confronts Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Minneapolis, tensions continue to rise after a 37-year-old mother was shot and killed by the agency.

They were initially allowed into the building, but were quickly escorted out after an official learned of their presence, Omar said.
Tensions against ICE are rising among lawmakers and citizens following the death of Renee Nicole Good, who lawmakers said was ‘murdered’ by the federal agency during a protest on Wednesday.

An ICE agent was seen entering the facility with his window open and a canister of pepper spray on his lap.
‘Why did you use the pepper spray? “Why are you using your pepper spray?” a journalist shouted from the press line outside the gate of the facility.
‘What is the danger? Members of Congress are here. ‘Why is pepper spray out there?’
Omar said the agents didn’t understand Minnesotans’ love for each other.
‘This is a process that involves everyone,’ Omar said outside the facility.
‘They’ve never experienced the kind of love we’ve experienced in Minnesota,’ the congressman said.
‘We know one day they will disappear, but we will be here, we will care for each other and we will carry out policies with love in Minnesota.’
