Real reason Prince Harry won’t meet Prince William during UK trip | Royal | News

The trial will begin on Monday, January 19, and Harry will take the witness stand on Thursday, January 22. TelegramThe Duke has “no plans” to see his father, King Charles, who “will almost certainly be in Scotland” during his son’s trips.

But it’s not just the King who will be in Scotland next week.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will also travel north for a day out.

Prince William and Princess Catherine will be miles away from Prince Harry as they visit Stirling to meet Team GB and the Great Britain Paralympic curling teams ahead of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

The sport, in which teams take turns sliding granite stones across ice towards a target, brushing the surface to guide their direction, originated in Scotland in the 16th century.

The Welsh, whose Scottish titles are the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, will visit the National Curling Academy in the city on Tuesday.

Kensington Palace said William and Catherine’s visit to Stirling aimed to “shine a light on the unique Scottish heritage traditions and how they continue to connect communities and inspire new generations”.

The prince and princess will also visit Radical Weavers, a hand-weaving studio and independent charity in Stirling.

William and Catherine will meet founder Mairi Breslin, learn about the therapeutic benefits of tartan weaving and try the skill for themselves.

Meanwhile, according to the draft hearing schedule seen on Thursday, Harry is expected to give a full day of testimony next Thursday.
