Height is something that doesn’t necessarily define a player’s career, but it is something teams take into consideration when making draft picks. The average height of an NFL quarterback is somewhere between 6 feet 2 and 6 feet 3. Bryce Young and Kyler Murray are among the smallest quarterbacks in the NFL at 6-foot-2.
Pavia appeared unconcerned about their vital situation when he told reporters on Monday.
“Yes, my height has been doubted my whole life,” he said. via AL.com. “I feel like the only thing the NFL cares about is whether you win or not, and I consider myself a winner. I’ve been lucky with all these great teams I’ve had; we’ve never had a losing season. That’s something I’ll look forward to for the rest of my career, hopefully that happens.”

“I feel like God has blessed me in so many ways to be a unifier, and I feel like that’s one of my superpowers; I can connect. We unify, and once you unify, you want to play for each other, and once you give 120% effort, there’s no one who can stop your team.”
Heart and hustle are what Pavia showed during his time with Vanderbilt.
He had 2,293 passing yards and 20 touchdowns in 2024 in his first season with Vanderbilt after transferring from New Mexico State. Vanderbilt was 7-6 and had a blowout win over Alabama.
