Norway royal touched, filmed sleeping woman, court told

A woman told an Oslo court that Marius Borg Høiby touched her sexually and filmed her while she slept in his hotel room.

“I woke up several times and found his fingers inside me,” Norway’s crown princess said of her eldest son’s alleged rape, according to Norway’s Verdens Gang newspaper.

The woman said that she traveled to Oslo with her friends for the weekend in November 2024 to attend the concert of the band Aqua and met Høiby through an acquaintance.

The two grew closer through conversation and during drinking games where they exchanged clothes.

She later stated that they had consensual sex at the hotel where she was staying.

But the atmosphere suddenly changed, Verdens told Gang: “He seemed obsessed with my lower body and it was like he was never going to stop.”

He said he thought he saw flashes of light and immediately suspected they were coming from Høiby’s camera.

According to the Oslo District Court report, he only later contacted the police after hearing about Høiby’s other alleged victims.

Investigators said they found that 27 videos were recorded during the night and early morning hours.

In a case that shocked Norway and attracted global media attention, Høiby faces a total of 38 charges, including four of rape. The trial started on February 3.

The 29-year-old actor denied the rape allegations in the indictment, as well as other sexual crimes.
