Premier League Darts 2026 results: Jonny Clayton beats Gian van Veen to win night three in Glasgow

Jonny Clayton became the third different night winner of the Premier League Darts season in Glasgow when he brutally pushed Gian van Veen aside.
Returning to the tournament after a two-year break, the Welsh player continued his impressive start to the year by beating the world number three 6-2.
He started the night by ending an almost three-year and 10-match losing streak against compatriot Gerwyn Price and then defeated world number one Luke Littler 6-1 in the semi-finals.
The 2021 winners averaged 99.88 and 101.33 in these two matches, but it was their outputs of 60% and 66.67% that really stood out.
While this rate dropped to 42.86% in the final, its average rose to 104.35, following Price and Michael van Gerwen as this season’s night winners.
He broke Van Veen in the opening leg and the seventh leg and then sealed the victory with a stunning score of 156.
This victory took him to the top of the preliminary standings, ahead of Van Gerwen, who missed the night due to illness, and Van Veen, who was defeated in two finals.
