Ram Charan’s Peddi Deferred to a New Date?

It has been reported that Ram Charan’s much-anticipated sports action drama Peddi has been postponed from its release date of March 27 to April 30, 2026. The producers recently hinted at the delay, stating that they needed more time to complete the film, adding: “The date of its arrival changes, but its strong courage does not change.”

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features a strong cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani and Satya. The film was shot extensively in Hyderabad and the Delhi schedule wrapped up on 26 February 2026.

Produced on a large scale by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment, the film has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by R. Rathnavelu. .

Despite the postponement, Peddi remains one of the most anticipated pan-India projects. Keeping the promotional momentum alive, the makers are planning to release the second song on March 2. Set in rural Andhra Pradesh in the 1980s, the film promises a rustic backdrop with a strong emotional underpinning.

Although no official confirmation has been released so far, there is also speculation in industry circles that the release may be delayed until May.

Ram Charan is said to be heavily banking on Peddi to regain the streak in the hope of achieving solid success across India after the lukewarm response to Game Changer.
