New poll, survey shows shake up at polls

AUSTIN, Texas – A survey of early voters in the Texas primary shows a huge increase in the polls. This includes a large influx of independent voters.
Polling is a red flag, and this new poll is truly stunning; It turns the first two races upside down.
what do they say
Democrats are getting more votes than Republicans, according to early voting counts. The FOX 7 Battleground Texas episode looked at Tavern Research’s survey.
The data showed that independents and undecideds are moving towards a new type of swing vote, and now this bloc of voters is leaning towards Democrats.
“I would say our research clearly shows that Republicans’ messaging is less successful than Democrats’ messaging to undecided voters. Our research is actually designed to compare Democratic candidates to each other and Republican candidates to each other, but what we see here in both cases is that with this group of undecided voters, the Democratic candidate wins after voters hear their message and the Republicans’ message,” said Jake Martin of Tavern Research.
Many analysts say the midterm elections are a referendum on President Trump. Martin was asked whether the Tavern Survey indicated this belief would continue into the summer, autumn and into the General Election.
“I think so. I think what we’re seeing at the national level is a sign that that’s going to be the case, that it’s going to be harder to get rid of that narrative and the attitudes that voters have as we get into the summer and the fall,” Martin said.
by numbers
UT Tyler rolled out another survey that showed heads turning. New poll shows John Cornyn now ahead of Ken Paxton and Wesley Hunt.
The poll also showed a smaller number of undecided voters. In the Democratic Senate race, the UT Tyler poll shows Jasmine Crockett ahead of James Talarico.
The UT Tyler poll follows one released by the Talarico campaign. In the previous poll, Talarico had a slight lead.

A deep dive into the data provided a regional breakdown of support. Those polled for Talarico’s support came from the blue bubble of Central Texas.
Jasmine Crockett received huge numbers from people in the Dallas and Houston metros, as well as rural South Texas and east Texas.
The big regional surprise in the GOP Senate Primary involved Ken Paxton. The analysis showed a large bloc of support along the southern Texas border. This may reflect past legal fights with the Biden administration over border security.
