TV host speechless after William’s 2-word bombshell to Beatrice and Eugenie | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by commentator Kinsey Schofield on Monday’s edition of TalkTV to discuss the latest royal family debacle. It comes amid reports that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice have been told they will not be able to join the Royal Family at Ascot this year due to the emerging scandal involving the House of York and concerns about their ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The move is said to have “completely caught off guard” Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, who were already reeling after their father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office last month, sources told the Mail on Sunday.
Neither sister will be able to take their place in the Royal Lodge at the prestigious horse racing event in June and will not be able to join senior royals for the Royal Procession.
Kevin said: “Harry and Meghan were offering their support to Beatrice and Eugenie – we hear that has been removed. They no longer support them and neither do William and Catherine, the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
“They are particularly cold towards these two girls. Now, we know that the King has informed them that they will not be welcome at Ascot this year. They will not be welcome at any future royal events.”
The show guest reacted to Prince William’s shock move as he shared his two-word suggestion.
Kinsey said: “I think what’s interesting is that in November they say the York women turned down Prince William’s offer to do an ‘ethical check’ on his personal investments.”
“That’s when Prince William became concerned about their presence.”
He continued: “William believed that their parents could have potentially been inadvertently involved with some shady businessmen. He wanted to protect them by offering them this ethical check to stay ahead of any scandal that might arise.”
The aforementioned publication reported that the sisters refused.
Beatrice and Eugenie have been told the royal ban is part of a wider decision to exclude the Princesses from all public events for the foreseeable future.
A source told the publication: “I spoke to my friend who works at Ascot and they said the girls had been told they couldn’t be there this year.
“Beatrice bore the brunt of this. She was completely blindsided by it all.”
