The rise and demise of Anthony Albanese’s FOI secrecy bill

The Albanian government’s FOI Amendment Bill was due to be introduced in parliament today by non-government senators, but to minimize the publicity of such a loss, the government killed the bill last Thursday, hoping to overshadow its demise by Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney’s speech to both houses.
