Antonin Kinsky: Spurs replace keeper after conceding three goals inside 15 minutes

Tottenham After conceding three goals in the first quarter of the Champions League last 16 match against Atletico Madrid, he replaced goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky in the 17th minute.
The 22-year-old Czech Republic centre-back had a nightmare start and interim coach Igor Tudor quickly replaced him with Guglielmo Vicario.
Italian Vicario has started most of Tottenham’s matches this season but was ruled out for Tuesday’s draw in Madrid after being criticized for poor performances.
But Vicario also conceded five minutes after coming on as Atletico took a 4-0 lead in the 22nd minute before Pedro Porro reduced the lead in the first half.
Tottenham signed Kinsky from Slavia Prague in January 2025 in a deal worth around £12.5 million.
His first mistake – a slip – led to Marcos Llorente making it 1-0 in the sixth minute, while Antoine Griezmann added a second in the 14th minute.
Kinsky was also at fault for giving the ball straight to Julian Alvarez for Atletico’s third goal and finishing in the 15th minute.
The goalkeeper buried his head in his hands after that display of horror and was removed from the game less than two minutes later.
