American Airlines passenger has a meltdown as she’s booted from plane for watching videos without headphones

An American Airlines passenger threw a fit after being told he would be removed from the flight for repeatedly listening to videos without using headphones, and video of the incident is now going viral.
In late February, @jcmack03 posted a two-minute video. TikTok A woman he described as “drunk” reportedly had a fit before being fired American Airlines Flight from Miami to Tampa, Florida.
According to the TikToker, the woman was “playing a video loudly on her phone.” After a flight attendant asked them to use headphones before leaving the gate, and apparently at least once more, the flight crew decided that was enough.
“I played a video for 30 seconds with 50% volume!” the woman objects at the beginning of the first clip. “So is that the real reason you kicked me out?”
Police took the woman off the plane
Two more clips, put together, show the woman telling an employee that the flight attendants were angry at her because she said “this seems to be your problem” and insisted that she stop playing her videos “after the second warning.”
@jcmack03 elaborated further, stating that the passenger acted “angry, rude, and combative,” “yelling and cursing at employees and other passengers,” until law enforcement boarded the plane to remove him.
He tells them, “I’m right. It’s okay to play a 30-second video.” “Isn’t this America’s freedom of speech? Or are we literally being an asshole to everyone?”
Use your headphones, people!
At the end of the video, other passengers can be seen applauding and thanking the officers as the woman is removed. This has almost become a standard send-off when it comes to viral videos of warrior plane passengers.
But it seemed to really resonate especially with people watching at home, those who were fed up with this new wave of people who thought it was somehow acceptable to watch videos without headphones in public.
“There is nothing worse than being in a restaurant or other public place while someone is yelling,” @wizziewiz commented.
@black_velvetcrush added: “America should pass laws making it illegal to play videos, songs, speaker phone calls, and FaceTime in public places without headphones. This is incredibly rude.”
“This needs to be done on buses and subways too,” @emma.brown58 said. “Even 30 seconds of loud music is 30 seconds too long.”
It looks like America is going this way United Airlines updates passenger code of conduct Late last month, it included the headset requirement, stating that the company “has the right to refuse transportation” to passengers who “do not use headphones while listening to audio or video content.”
